Dear Hardos (henceforth that will be the name of Harding Project followers, superfans, and devotees alike),
We at the Harding Project are thinking deeply about the future of our Substack and, as the editor, I’m finding myself a bit lost. I am but an officer, so this feeling is at once familiar and frightening. I am faced with the daunting question, where to next?
Luckily for me, I have thousands (5,602 to be exact) Hardos to help me find our way. Our readers are, obviously, the lifeblood of the publication; it would make little sense to adjust content without consulting you all.
Therefore, we will weaponize my favorite Substack feature, the mighty poll.
Please join me in taking a quick knee so we can all huddle around a poorly laminated map to figure out where we are at and where we are going.
This information helps us curate content that we know you will enjoy, with the ultimate aim of staying out of your spam folder. If you have other ideas not listed above, please share them with us at submissions@hardingproject.com. Ironically, these emails DO sometimes end up in my spam folder, so if you don’t hear back within a week, please contact me here.
If you are a person of poor taste and you dislike all of the Harding Project’s content please click below to unsubscribe.
Thank you for taking a much-needed #tacticalpause with us. We look forward to continuing to publish relevant articles about writing, Army history, senior leaders and wet gap crossings. Just kidding on the last one.
Have a great week!

i'd like to see a dedicated thread/channel; about the use of AI assisted writing tools for professionals so we can reclaim the AI highground currently occupied by Chinese scholars and professionals
I love learning leadership perspectives being a current BN CDR and starting my own Substack - the army is going through unprecedented changes and new growth - I want to maintain my edge with how our leaders interact with these changes.
