About the Harding Project
The Harding Project is the Army initiative to strengthen the profession through professional writing and public discourse. So far, since 2023, we’ve increased Army journal reach by 10 times and authorship by 3.5 times. While those numbers are good, what’s better is the impact that the journals, their staffs, and authors are having across the force. Leaders are more connected with their Soldiers, Soldiers can influence top-level change through discourse, and peers have the ability to share information and lessons to avoid solving problems for the “first time.”
