The Line of Departure and Army journals serve Soldiers, but getting professional content into the right hands doesn’t happen by chance. If we want these articles to reach the force, we need to meet Soldiers where they already are—on social media.
Our recent promotion idea competition highlighted the Army’s vast social media ecosystem as an untapped distribution network for professional discourse. Leaders, PAOs, and engaged Soldiers already run hundreds of unit pages with thousands of followers. If we can identify the right influencers and pages, we can better amplify LD and Army journal content, ensuring it reaches those who need it most.
