Looking back and looking forward
Over at the Modern War Institute, we reviewed the Harding Project’s progress so far and charted the path forward.
Key for ‘25:
Complete Line of Departure. Clear the article backlog, launch an app with push notifications, and more.
Outreach. SFC Blood will be traveling across the Army. Send him a note if you’re a division-level unit interested in a writing workshop.
Force structure. The Army needs to formalize the positions for military and civilian editors at the centers of excellence.
Harding Fellowship. The first recruited cohort of Harding Fellows will start at the University of Kansas this summer as we recruit the second cohort.
Archives. We’ll look at options to automate the splitting and tagging of the almost 150k articles and back content.
