In November, General Randy George, the Chief of Staff of the Army recognized three articles related to transforming our Army for future challenges.
“Convergence and Emission Control: Tension and Reconciliation” by Maj. Matthew Tetreau. Tetreau’s article won the Depuy Essay Competition for 2023.
“Modernize Army Equipment, Training with Rapid Prototyping Technologies” by SSG Marcel Blood. Blood argues for 3D printing in sustainment operations at lower echelons.
“A Call to Action: Lessons from Ukraine for the Future Force” by LTC Katie Crombe and Dr. John Nagl. Crombe and Nagl explore how the Russia-Ukraine war shows the need to rapidly adapt doctrine, training, and capabilities for large-scale combat operations.
