For March, General Randy George, the Chief of Staff of the Army, recognized articles related to warfighting, continuous transformation, and strengthening the Army profession.

• “Lessons Learned by the 75th Ranger Regiment during Twenty Years of Tactical Combat Casualty Care” by Col. Ryan M. Knight, Col. Russ S. Kotwal, and retired Lt. Col. Charles H. Moore in Military Review.

• “The Army and the Fortress Fleet: Reimagining Landpower in Maritime Warfare” by Lt. Col. Nathan Jennings at the Modern War Institute.

• “Be All We Can Be: Reclaiming the Army Identity” by 1st Lt. Leah Foodman at the Army War College’s War Room.

He also recognized another “Tool for Strengthening the Profession” that provides a helpful how-to guide for leaders who want to start unit writing programs.
